「アレッピーで宿泊するならここ一択」
アレッピーのバックウォーター周辺のリゾートホテルではここが立地とリゾート感が1番だと思います。 前回の滞在ではハウスボートに宿泊しましたが、船内のエアコンやシャワー（とても簡素）の状況を考えると、こちらに宿泊して3時間程度のバックウォータークルーズを別途現地で探した方が快適に過ごせると思います。 お部屋は少々古さがありますが、清潔で快適に過ごせました。 夕方にはコンプリメンタリーのティータイムと1時間程度のバックウォータークルーズがあり、とてもお値打ちだと思います。 夕食はビュッフェとアラカルトどちらもあり。アラカルトやアルコールもかなりお値打ちです。 帰りの駅までの移動手段を相談したところ、ホテル手配のタクシーは高額のため、ホテルの連絡ボートで街まで出てリキシャーで行くことを提案してくれました。 連絡ボート到着地のスタッフの方もリキシャーの値段交渉までしてくれて、かなり安価で帰ることができました。ありがとうございました。
ルームサービスでビールを頼んだのですが、1時間以上届かず、忘れた頃に届きました。 スタッフがオープナーを持参しておらず結局ビールのボトルは飲めずに持ち帰りました。

What was the highlight of Sterling Lake Palace Alleppey
Property is good. But booking process not great.
The booking process is very bad and confusing. Booked using booking.Com app for someone else. The app and the email showed the actual guest name but the property manager said they are seeing my name as the booking was made by me. Bit of an embarrassment when the booking is a gift for someone. The guest has to call multiple times to fix the issue. Even after adding the credit card details the guest has to pay from his pocket at the property. Coud have clearly mentioned the conditions. Will never use the booking.com app.

A good place to spend time but needs improvement
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The staff were very friendly especially the ones organising games. The buggy drivers were super helpful.
The room wasn't clean enough. The waste basket had leftover waste from previous guest. The buffet wasn't that great. Alappey is well known for various cuisines but none of the local food was available which was quite disappointing.
